This film is directed by Mukesh Chhabra. He was also a close friend of Sushant Singh Rajput. He was the only director who given chance to Sushant Singh Rajput in Sushants first ever film Kai Po Che.

Kizie Aur Manny was the initially title of Dil Bechara. That name awas based on the names of the lead actors film’s character. Then later on that name changed to Dil Bechara which was title track.
