To support these, the government of India approves law strictest action against people manhandling health workers and police officials. This decision is big and crucial.

This decision fetches a change in the widespread law that has been there since 1897. Now afterward, the changes, the attack on the health official, will be non-bail able. Simply means that the attackers will not get bail. The investigation of the case will be completed in 30 days, and a decision will come in a year.

The law states that:

  1.  Three months to five years (3-5 years) have been provided for stabbing.
  2.  A provision for fine has also been comprised ranging from fifty thousand to two lakh(50,000-2,00,000 rupees)
  3. And if the attack on doctors and medical staff is severe, then there is a provision for imprisonment for up to 7 years.
